Old City Festival

In June, around 100,000 people cavort between Porta Nigra and Viehmarkt to a variety of live music and along numerous food stalls. The Old Town Festival invites you to celebrate in a historical setting.

The Trier Old Town Festival is one of the oldest and largest city festivals in the region and attracts visitors from near and far. With hundreds of musicians on five main stages and other smaller stages, with varied live music from jazz and big bands to swing and Schlager to rock and pop, and with well over 100 food stalls along the festival mile, the festival offers something for every taste. It is a great opportunity for locals and tourists to enjoy the lively atmosphere of the city and get carried away by the festive mood.
