In the spirit of the Romans, the tour through the center of antiquity begins with the city's most famous building, the Porta Nigra. Afterwards you will experience the fascinating time of the Middle Ages with Dreikönigenhaus, Judengasse and Hauptmarkt, when well-fortified citizens tried to protect their belongings with architectural tricks, Peter became the city patron and self-confident citizens fought against the bishop for imperial immediacy - a fight that sometimes also happened fought with knights, monkeys and steeples.
