Theaterwanderung: Mörderische Auslese

  • Bernkastel-Kues
  • 20.04.2024Dates overview
  • 11:00 - 17:00

A walk through the town of Bernkastel-Kues to different theatre performance venues.

The play is presented by pupils of the Nikolaus-von-Kues Gymnasium. N-K-G for short. And so it comes as no surprise that the crime trio N-K-G is used in the performance "Mörderische Auslese" (Murderous Selection). The trio is made up of the well-organised inspector Nikki Blaulicht, her daredevil colleague Kurt Kappes and the sensitive pathologist Gundula Flatulenz, who can't stand the sight of blood, and always with them is the sniffer dog Pfiffi. They have to go to different crime scenes in the city centre to solve mysterious murders.

Of course, it's all about Moselle wine, a crown and the office of the Mosella. The play was written by Bärbel Theis, a retired teacher, and Marcel Petri, still a teacher at the grammar school in Bernkastel-Kues. Both are also in charge of the theatre group and are organising another artistic project together with the town, after the Midsummer Night's Dream at Landshut Castle in 2017.
