2500 years of history at 2500 metres - A guided tour of the rock plateau of Kastel-Staadt. On a guided tour with great views, you will discover what the Celts, Romans and Franks left behind here. History continues visibly through the Middle Ages and modern times. Listen to anecdotes about the famous master builder Karl Friedrich Schinkel, the Blind King John of Bohemia and King Frederick William IV of Prussia. The tour is also suitable for children and families, lasts approx. 2 hours and can be extended to include a detour to the rocks and (if open) a visit to the Klause (entrance fee).
