Europäische Kunstakademie

  • Trier

The European Academy of Art in Trier was founded in 1977 as an association and is now one of the largest independent art academies in Europe. The eka is an artistic training centre and a place for artistic encounters.

Located on the Moselle, the European Art Academy utilises the listed buildings of the former Trier abattoir from the late 19th century. Courses, workshops and exhibitions have been held here since 1993. Congresses, conferences, in-house exhibitions and receptions can also be held in the light-flooded Kunsthalle on up to 700 square metres. The eka also offers the opportunity to work freely in the studios. Workspaces can also be rented to realise projects if your own studio is too small.
