The war memorial for the victims of the First and Second World Wars is designed as a small, open round temple and is located in the midst of a green area enclosed by a low rubble stone wall, featuring historic trees.
The inscriptions of the monument commemorate the fallen and victims of both world wars from the village. As part of the village renewal, the area around the memorial was redesigned in 2015. Behind the monument, an expanded lounging area with green space and seating was created as a quiet retreat in the town center. This meeting point is complemented by an open pavilion. The upper boundary of the square is marked by an impressive linden tree, which is protected as a natural monument.
