The apartment is located in Pluwig, between the city of Trier (10 km), the Ruwertal and the Hunsrück. Holidays with us are holidays in nature. Moselsteig, Lieserpfad and Saar-Hunsrücksteig as well as many other wine and hiking trails are not far and worth every trip. With the wheel you can, for example, from the Ruwer-Hochwald cycle path to the Moselradweg and many other bike paths. A beautiful vantage point is located on the Saarschleife. The romantic city of Saarburg is also located on the Saar.

Near the apartment (about 1.5 km walk) is the Karl May open air stage of Karl May friends Pluwig with great scenery. Every two years the festival of the Karl May friends takes place (the next 2019).

The Roman city of Trier, the oldest city in Germany, is just a stone's throw away and offers an extensive cultural program. In Trier are many attractions such as the Porta Nigra, the amphitheater, the Imperial Baths, the cathedral and much more. They are located in the border triangle Germany, Luxembourg and France.

Kell am See and Schillingen (about 15 km) offer beautiful walks and refreshments around their lakes.
