Exchange library at the Tourist Information Wintrich

  • Wintrich

Southern, sunny, enchanting: this is how Wintrich on the Moselle attracts its guests. The place formerly known as "Vindriacum" (Celtic-Roman for winegrowing village) is not only known for its top wines, but also for the Passion Plays performed there. Visit us in Wintrich and taste this "divine" wine. The products of the Wintrich winegrowers, a sparkling wine factory and several distilleries for fine fruit as well as the good cuisine invite you to enjoy. But you can also be active on well developed cycle paths along the Moselle. Also beautiful and exciting hiking tours are offered in Wintrich and surroundings: From easy walks to demanding hikes along the Moselle, through the vineyards or in the Wintrich forest, there is something for everyone. Enjoy the view from the "Großer Herrgott", which you can easily reach via the wine trail or the "Herrgotts Wanderweg", or explore the Wintrich forest on the "Kasholzer Weg" and take a walk "Im Kastanienwäldchen". Do you enjoy pampering yourself and your body? There are numerous beauty and wellness offers to choose from. Campers are also welcome on 2 motorhome pitches and a large camping site. Shopping facilities are available in the village, whether you need food, homemade jam, beekeeper honey, elderberry products or gifts.

In the exchange library, you can send books on their journey that you have sorted out from your bookshelf or also books that you think are worth reading and would like to pass on.

The procedure is simple as known:

 * You bring a book yourself

*and swap it for a book from the swap library that suits you.

Book donations, especially novels, are always welcome.
