During a ride in an electric carriage, you can immerse yourself in the exciting history of the town of Saarburg with mobile virtual reality glasses.

During a ride in an electric carriage, you can immerse yourself in the exciting history of the town of Saarburg with mobile virtual reality glasses. During the approx. 50-minute tour, participants gain historical insights into the town's former everyday life at seven stops and experience formative historical events. Be there when the castle was built, the Leuk river was diverted and the first mill was operated at the waterfall or the Buttermarkt was lit up with electricity for the first time. The new tour fulfils mankind's dream of time travel and creates unique experiences. Other stops on the tour include Franz von Sickingen's attack on the castle, an everyday scene from the artisanal lower town in the Staden, a bell casting in the Mabilon bell foundry and a market scene at the fruit market. Up to 6 people per tour can take part in the electric carriage ride through the city.
