Digital tour of Mosel-Cycle-Path with 40 stop-off points is available in Dutch and English.

Cyclists on their way from Perl to Koblenz have been enjoying the Lauschtour audio guide “40 Audiopoints Along the Mosel-Cycle_Path” since 2019. The audio tour is now also available for international guests to download in Dutch and English.

“The ‘Audiopoints Along the Mosel Cycle Path’ audio tour has been really well received by German-speaking cycling guests and already has 3000 downloads,” says a delighted Sabine-Winkhaus-Robert, Managing Director of Mosellandtouristik. “The English and Dutch narration means that we can now also offer our international guests a high-quality digital holiday experience.”

The Mosel Cycle Path is considered one of Germany’s finest premium cycle routes and follows the Mosel for 248 kilometres through the oldest wine-growing region in Germany. The riverside route is exceptionally safe as most of it runs along separate tracks away from the roads. As a result, cyclists can let their gaze wander without worry and relax while listening to the stories of the “Audiopoints Along the Moselle Cycle Path” app at the 40 listening stations along the way. Via entertaining audio clips, cyclists can discover the story behind the Trittenheim Apothecary, what life on a Roman estate was like and what the mysterious white ring of Bischofstein Castle is all about. Other points include listening to the sounds of a great crested grebe and following a lock-keeper at work.

The Lauschtour audio tour app is available for free in the Apple App Store or on Google Play. It can be saved for offline use so that internet access isn't needed on the go. The app offers a tour map with routes and an overview of all listening stations. More information: https://en.visitmosel.de/cycling/audioguide
