The magic of the "Marienhöhe" pilgrimage site and the romantic Liebesschlucht.
The circular walk leads through the forest up to the Marienhöhe pilgrimage site. Hikers can enjoy a wonderful view of the valley. Later, through the woods and past vineyards, the trail descends into the Liebesschlucht gorge with its steep rock faces and the babbling brook.

Directions
Start: "Zeller Schwarze Katz" fountain at the market square - follow the Marktstraße uphill - up the Zeller Kehr - past the square tower - then keep right towards Marienhöhe - turn right towards the Förster-Kircher-Pfad - at the crossroads turn left onto the Förster-. Kircher path - path right downhill - cross the B421 - path further downhill before the forester's house, keep left - along the Linischbach stream through the gorge - after the gorge, turn right past the Breuers Mühle mill to the bank of the Moselle - here, turn right back to the starting point.

Marienhöhe pilgrimage site with a beautiful view down the valley to the district of Barl.
Getting there
cross the B53 to the other side of the Moselle (Bullay double-decker bridge or Zell-Kaimt motorway bridge), keep straight on until you reach the Zell (Mosel) town hall, Balduinstr. 44,56856 Zell (Mosel)

Parking along the banks of the Moselle in Zell (Mosel) (for a fee)
Free parking in the streets "Brandenburg" and "Am Bahnhof".
Public transit
by train to Bullay and then by bus 720,721 or 750 to Zell (Mosel) Lindenplatz
