Easy round tour high above the Moselle village of Piesport, ideal for all those who have a small hike in mind.

Magnificent views of the Moselle valley and the Eifel await you on this hike above the Moselle village of Piesport. The trail leads mainly along farm and forest paths through the cultural landscape around the Piesport mountain.Insights into the hiking tour:Don't worry - you don't have to climb Piesport Mountain with its many hairpin bends! You can hike for a good hour on the approximately five-kilometre-long circular trail. At first there are hardly any differences in altitude to overcome on the farm track. If you cut through the edge of the woods, you can enjoy wonderful views of the Piesporter Moselle loop. But you can also look far into the Eifel. After passages through the forest, you can stop for a break at the Moselpanorama Hotel shortly before the end of the tour. Here you can fortify yourself and get ready for the ascent, which leads via the Way of the Cross past the Spoar Chapel back to the starting point. In addition to the above-mentioned refreshment stop, there are other places along the Moselle in Piesport.
