A steep ascent with lots of information and wonderful views of the surrounding wine villages and the Pünderich Hang Viaduct.

The educational wine trail leads from the ferry dock on the opposite side of the Moselle to Marienburg Castle. It crosses the single vineyard of the same name. After crossing the Moselle with the ferry, the trail leads up 440 steps and winding paths past 26 information boards about grape varieties, viticulture, and the village's history. The steep ascent becomes an entertaining lesson in wine. Several rest areas and charming views of the Moselle valley invite you to linger.
