Sounds of Transience: Traditional and Contemporary Koto Music Naoko Kikuchi / Koto and Bass Koto performs works by Kengyo Yatsuhashi, Junichi Miyagi, and Tadao Sawai.
With Koto and Basskoto, the Japanese musician Naoko Kikuchi presents a program that addresses the theme of the exhibition and connects musical, visual, and literary elements into a comprehensive work of art.
Naoko Kikuchi, born in Sendai (Japan), received her musical training in traditional Koto music as well as at Sophia University in Tokyo and has been part of international tours. Her repertoire includes not only classical Japanese music but also chamber music, contemporary works, and improvisation. She collaborates interdisciplinarily with artists from dance, theater, and art, and performs internationally.
Doors open at 6:30 PM. Start at 7:00 PM.
The admission fee is €20.00.
