4. Wittlicher Federweißerfest mit Traktortreffen

Enjoy the golden autumn sun on your face, a glass of regional Federweißer to the beat of live music and a slice of onion tart on your plate. How does that sound?
We think it sounds very good....
That's why the fourth Wittlich Federweißer Festival is taking place on the weekend of September 6 - 8.
The "Platz an der Lieser", located in the heart of the city center and directly on the river, will be transformed into an autumnally decorated event location this weekend. Wittlich's winegrowers will be tempting visitors with their latest products, Federweißer, as well as their usual high-quality wines. Onion tart and tarte flambée round off the culinary offerings.
Straw bales and pallet furniture invite you to linger in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. In the evening hours, colorful lights will bathe the square in a cozy, atmospheric light.
In keeping with this, there will be live music on a stage from 12:00-21:00 on the respective days. Regional bands provide an entertaining atmosphere, so that you can tap your feet to the beat or even dance along. In the afternoon it will be a little quieter and more relaxed, while in the evening it will be louder and wilder, with well over 100 retailers opening their stores for Sunday shopping. From 13:00-18:00, all visitors have the opportunity to stroll through the city center, enjoy a leisurely shopping spree and see for themselves the diversity of Wittlich's tradespeople. The popular autumn market on the Wittlich market square also awaits lovers of decorations and handicrafts on this tour of discovery. The retailers also entice visitors with the annual "Heimatshoppen" (local shopping) campaign, where visitors to the town can once again expect some really great surprises.
With the support of the Wittlich Town Foundation, the popular tractor meeting will also take place again on this Sunday. Up to 70 drivers from the region will come to Wittlich to present their unique tractors to visitors. From Deutz to Fendt to Hanomag, various agricultural machines will amaze the eyes of young and old between the market square and Kurfürstenplatz (Ottensteinplatz) from 10:00-16:00. From 16:00, the tractors will leave the town center via the market square and Oberstraße. This gives everyone the opportunity to marvel at the tractors in action.
