40th International Midnight Run

The Midnight Run in Kröv is one of the most atmospheric running events in the Middle Moselle region and invites sports enthusiasts, families, and running lovers to an unforgettable experience. Every year, the idyllic wine village of Kröv transforms into a festively illuminated running course full of atmosphere, music, and good cheer.

Diverse running options for all age groups

From the youngest to experienced runners, the Midnight Run offers a varied program:

• Children's run (450 m) for children under 10 years old – 6:00 PM / 6:15 PM

• School run (2.2 km) for young runners – 7:00 PM

• Youth and everyone run (3.4 km) including company results – 8:00 PM

• Main run – Midnight Run (9.0 km) through the night – 10:00 PM

Results, awards ceremony, and wine gifts

After the run, participants can look forward to a special awards ceremony:

• The fastest female and male runners of the Midnight Run will be symbolically weighed in wine – a popular highlight of the evening.

• Every adult participant receives a bottle of Moselle wine with Midnight Run print, while children and teenagers get a bottle of grape juice.

• Prizes, trophies for teams, and certificates round off the sports experience.

 Atmosphere & supporting program

The Midnight Run is much more than a sports competition – it is a celebration! The running course is illuminated and lined with enthusiastic spectators, music, and a lively atmosphere. After the runs, everyone celebrates together – with Moselle wine, regional specialties, and a colorful evening program in the center of Kröv.

Organization & participation

• Registration: Online via the official site possible until about May 18, 2026 (late registration on site possible).

• Entry fees: Adults approx. € 14, children and teenagers approx. € 7 (plus late registration fee).

• Start number distribution: On the day of the event from around 4:00 PM.
