76. Wine and folk festival in Konz

Four days full of enjoyment, music, and good mood around the Konzer Town Hall!

The popular “Konzer Heimat- und Weinfest” is entering its 76th round and invites you to a festive celebration filled with regional wines, diverse live music, and entertaining program points.
Numerous bands, artists, and local associations provide a colorful and captivating program throughout the days.

The  opening evening traditionally starts with the presentation of the candidates for the title of Saar-Obermosel Wine Queens on the main stage. This is followed by a festive fireworks display, accompanied by music. Afterwards, celebrations continue in the marketplace with live music.
From 6:30 p.m. reception of the guest wine queens at the harbor of the Watersports Club Konz and a ride with the motorsport boats to the dock in Saarstraße; then an oldtimer procession with the winemaker band Oberemmel to the official opening at the festival grounds (initiated by the Motorsportclub Konz).
8:00 p.m. Official opening of the Heimat- and Weinfest with the music club “Harmonie” Könen.
Presentation of the candidates for the election of Saar–Obermosel Wine Queens.
9:15/9:30 p.m. Performances by the show dance groups “Rainbow”.
10:30 p.m. Grand opening fireworks with musical accompaniment.
11:00 p.m. Unplugged music with the trio “Dancefloor”.
From 8:30 p.m. on the HdJ Konz stage behind Administration Building II: DJ Night with exciting sounds, changing DJs, and true party atmosphere.

On Saturday evening visitors can look forward to more musical highlights with great bands.

Newcomer on Stage. Celebrate with up-and-coming bands and artists from the region.

Sunday is dedicated to families.
Starting at 8:00 a.m. there will be a large oldtimer and youngtimer exhibition in the parking lot of the Martin furniture store.
A selection of rare and particularly beautiful vehicles will cruise to the marketplace on Sunday afternoon and will be welcomed there by the mayor on behalf of everyone.
Here, the reigning Saar-Obermosel Wine Queens will also be picked up and driven in open oldtimers to the event site in the parking lot of Möbel Martin.
From 8:00 a.m. oldtimer meeting of the Motorsportclub Konz in the parking lot of Möbel Martin.
10:30 a.m. Festival service at the festival grounds (in case of rain, in St. Nikolaus parish church).
11:30 a.m. Arrival of the oldtimer procession at the festival grounds. 
2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.: Westwall Museum is open.
2:30 p.m. The puppet theater TOPS presents the fairy tale “Ki Ka Kasper and the Bank Robber”, for children 4 years and older (festival grounds) 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. (behind Administration Building II): Family afternoon with the Spielmobil Konz, games, fun, and activities for young and old.
3:30 p.m. Performance by the “little” group of the show dance group “Rainbow” (festival grounds).
7:30 p.m. Soul & More
From 9:00 p.m. on the HdJ Konz stage behind Administration Building II: Public viewing, final match of the football World Cup.

On Monday the wine stands open in the afternoon. In the evening, live music will once again ensure a cheerful atmosphere and a festive conclusion to the event.
3:00 p.m. Entertainment with the duo “Lucky Lips”.
8:00 p.m. Rock & pop with the band “Viva La Vida".

Numerous food stalls also leave no culinary wishes unfulfilled. Whether fries, bratwurst, or dishes in the gourmet zone – everyone will find something that they like.
