A journey of discovery into the biological diversity of our wine cultural landscape

What grows and creeps in the steep vineyards of the Moselle valley? Where do wild lamb's lettuce and wild marjoram grow here? Does garlic rocket taste like garlic? Who knows the predecessor of our lettuce? Do descendants of dinosaurs really live here?, max. 20 participants

Where does wild lamb's lettuce and wild oregano grow here? Does the garlic mustard taste like garlic? Who knows the predecessor of our lettuce? And are there really descendants of dinosaurs living here? Discover in an entertaining way the diverse flora and fauna of our landscape with exciting stories. During this circular hike through vineyards and forest in the heights of Leiwen, you will learn how closely viticulture and biodiversity are connected in the Moselle valley. At the end of the tour, we will, with a magnificent view of the Moselle valley, reflect on our impressions over a glass of Riesling or grape juice. Please wear sturdy footwear and appropriate weather-appropriate clothing.
