Augustas Weingarten

Summer. Rhine. Wine.

The summer meeting point on the Rhine in Koblenz.

After the successful kickoff last summer, “Augustas Weingarten” returns in 2026 to the Rhine promenade at the Kaiserin-Augusta monument — even more relaxed, beautiful, and with a varied cultural framework.

The event series serves as an open meeting point for locals and visitors of the region: a place to come together, unwind, and enjoy together — in the midst of greenery, right by the Rhine.

The idea behind the concept is centered around the combination of:
• Summer feeling
• Regional culinary culture
• Music & culture
• Encounters
• And a relaxed atmosphere outdoors by the Rhine

It is consciously intended not to create a classic wine festival, but rather a modern, open pop-up format with different thematic focuses on each event day. “Augustas Weingarten” aims to bring people together and invite them to linger — uncomplicated, intergenerational, and in a stylish, summery setting.

In addition to food, wine, spritz drinks, and non-alcoholic alternatives, cultural program points, local artists, and new enjoyment ideas will also find their place.

In this way, visitors can indulge in cozy gatherings with food & drink along with a diverse program that has something for everyone. You can look forward to musical performances, readings, workshops, salsa taster courses, a local artists' stage, public viewing, special guests like Verbene Restaurant (with oysters, paella & champagne), and much more.

The location directly on the Rhine, surrounded by green spaces and the historical site, deliberately forms the centerpiece of the concept.
