Summer. Rhine. Wine.
Koblenz once again gets its summery meeting place on the Rhine
After the successful start last summer, “Augustas Weingarten” returns to the Rheinanlagen at the Kaiserin-Augusta-Denkmal in 2026 — even more relaxed, beautiful, and with a diverse cultural supporting program.
The event series is intended as an open meeting place for locals and visitors to the region: a place to come together, unwind, and enjoy together — in the midst of greenery, right by the Rhine.
The idea behind the concept focuses on the combination of:
• Summer feeling
• Regional enjoyment culture
• Music & culture
• Encounter
• and relaxed atmosphere outdoors by the Rhine.
It is deliberately not intended to create a classic wine festival, but a modern, open pop-up format with different thematic focuses on each event day. “Augustas Weingarten” aims to bring people together and invite them to linger — uncomplicated, across generations, and in a stylish, summery setting.
In addition to food, wine, spritz drinks, and non-alcoholic alternatives, cultural program items, local artists, and new enjoyment ideas will also find their place. Besides cozy gatherings over food & drinks, you can indulge in a diverse program offering something for everyone. You can look forward to music performances, readings, workshops, salsa taster courses, a local artist stage, public viewing, special guests like Verbene Restaurant (with oysters, paella & champagne), and much more.
The location directly by the Rhine, surrounded by green spaces and the historic site, deliberately forms the centerpiece of the concept.
