About me ERWIN FRANZEN, Photographer I am not a photographer; I lack the technical knowledge for that. I have been passionately photographing since 1975. Back then, I developed my black and white films myself and enlarged these negatives in a darkroom. My photographic areas are extensive, ranging from the beauty of nature to architecture. I photograph digitally in black and white and color. I reduce image editing to the absolute necessary minimum. I am open to modern techniques like ICM, which allow for very artistic and abstract photographs. Just as every person in the world is unique, a photo should also possess a certain uniqueness. Through photography, I have developed a great appreciation and respect for nature in my life.
