For the first time, the city of Bernkastel-Kues will kick off the spring season in March with a joint opening.
Under the motto “Bernkastel-Kues is blooming!” the new season will be ushered in with great energy from March 20 to 29, 2026. During this time, the city will showcase its vibrant and colorful character.
Restaurants, hotels, and local retailers will participate with a variety of special actions, offers, and events. Both guests and locals can look forward to culinary delights, attractive arrangements, spring-like decorations, and unique shopping experiences.
A diverse accompanying program will provide entertainment and unforgettable impressions throughout the entire event: A funfair along the Mosel river spreads a cheerful fair atmosphere, while late-night shopping and an atmospheric music night invite visitors to browse and linger. A boat parade on the Mosel creates impressive highlights on the water, the Fashion Day presents current trends and inspirations, and a spectacular laser and light show marks the brilliant highlight of the event series.

Fashion Day - A day full of trends: Saturday, March 21, 2026
11 AM - 1 PM: Fashion meets Deinhard's at the Stefan Hees fashion house
We present the latest looks from the spring/summer collection at the fashion house by the Mosel bridge. Look forward to a personal atmosphere in the house – accompanied by a sparkling wine stand from our partner hotel Deinhard's.
3 PM - 4 PM: Fashion Meets Whiskey at the Stefan Hees fashion house
Whiskey tasting at the Herrenhaus Am Markt. Discover the new collections and enjoy a special gourmet atmosphere in cooperation with Fine Spirits & Cigars by günnis.
