Bewegung - Gesundheit - Natur/Outdoor-Workshop für Jedermann /-frau

Exercise in the fresh air is one of the best ways to promote our health and achieve balance. The Huxley Plateau offers a great opportunity to do this while enjoying the view of our wonderful Moselle region.
In this outdoor workshop, we will talk about the importance of movement for us, our bodies, and the main positive effects. After that, we will move on to practice. Following a small warm-up, we will explore the health park located on the Huxley Plateau - the so-called Finnenbahn Mehring-Pölich. Various sports equipment is available there. We will have an introduction to the basic exercises and a small circuit training. After the equipment training, we will conclude the exercise session with a walking round on the beautiful plateau. Finally, we will strengthen ourselves together at the Finnenbahn hut.
The workshop is suitable for beginners and for all ages. We will meet at the parking lot at the old sports field in Pölich on the Huxley Plateau. The event is held in cooperation with the local community of Pölich and the Health Promotion and Prevention Office of the Trier-Saarburg district as part of the Health Network of the VG Schweich.
