By boat to the wine tasting and back

Take the boat from Bernkastel-Kues to the beautiful neighbouring village of Lieser. (approx. 20 minutes journey time) You will be picked up by the winegrower at the pier below the Dammtor. After a welcome drink, you will walk together over the flood protection dam with a marvellous view of the Moselle and the historic Lieser Castle. Once you arrive at the vinotheque of the Birnfeld winery, the wine tasting continues. During the tasting, you will gain an insight into the wine cellar and vineyard and learn interesting facts about the wines, winegrowing and the year of the winegrower. After the wine tasting, you will return to the pier on your own, where you will be picked up by the ship and taken back to Bernkastel-Kues.
