Via Mosel - Open Doors:
Experience the most beautiful wineries and wine towns of the boundless Moselle Valley over a weekend, known for the quality of their tourist infrastructure as well as their remarkable historical or contemporary architecture.

All along the Moselle, the Via Mosel wineries selected by a panel of experts will open their doors for visitors on the first weekend of April. In addition to wine tastings, you can expect a diverse architectural program: exciting building tours, architect talks, client stories...

The Cantzheim Winery will be open on April 18 and 19 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Visitors can look forward to wine tastings, insights into the history of the estate, and the special connection between wine and architecture under the motto “How Wine Lives.”
At the same time, the award-winning wine shop at Cantzheim estate will be open. Whether by bike, on foot, by canoe, train, or car – the weekend offers the opportunity to enjoy Saar.Wine.Culture in a relaxed atmosphere with a glass of Saar wine.

The Winery:
A late Baroque manor house is flanked at a respectful distance by two modern buildings. The elegant Baroque structure was built in 1740 as a winery of a monastery and subsequently belonged to the Bishop's Seminary of Trier for a long time. The family purchased the property in 2007 and engaged the renowned architect Max Dudler, who renovated the historic manor house and added two new buildings.
