Once a year, the gates of the Gietzen winery courtyard open for the traditional courtyard festival. Blooming oleander and laurel bushes, rustic stone walls, lovingly decorated tables – here one enjoys an uniquely charming atmosphere. Alongside, there is good wine and delicious food – heart, what more could you want? Well, music must not be missed: This year, the Niederfeller Schdäifleda set the tone and add a touch of authenticity to the romance. “We Sing in Dialect” is the motto of the singers, who, in their interpretations of ballads, “Rhythm and Blues,” and Mosel-Franconian songs, describe life by the river and the beautiful cultural landscape of the Mosel. Guests can taste excellent wines, and during the break, traditional Tafelspitz from the winery's kitchen will be served.
