On Saturday, October 3, 2026, as part of the “Living Cellar World”, a puppet theater for ages four and up will take place at 4:00 p.m. in the “Blue Vault” in Traben-Trarbach.

One morning, when the badger wakes up, he is in a terrible mood. Everything goes wrong, and the more he gets annoyed about it, the worse it gets. He should actually stay at home, but then he thinks to himself: “What good is it to be in a bad mood if no one notices?” So he goes into the forest and grumbles and complains about all the other animals until he has grumbled out his anger. Soon he feels better again, but suddenly there is a bad atmosphere among the animals in the forest. Slowly, he realizes: Now he has to come up with something…

In a small, classic theater with a stage portal, velvet curtain, and changing backdrops, a story is told with lovingly designed figures that invites both young and old to laugh, reflect, and empathize – and shows how contagious both bad and good moods can be.
