""Stumbling Stones Tell Stories" - Free guided tours in the context of the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of National Socialism.
Two days before the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of National Socialism, the city of Saarburg invites you to two guided city tours “Stumbling Stones Tell Stories” free of charge. In these two guided tours, participants will learn more about the fates of the people who once lived in Beurig and were persecuted, deported, and murdered by the National Socialists.
Meeting point: Social Station of the German Red Cross, Bahnhofstr. 4, Saarburg-Beurig.
Time: 1:30 PM.
Stumbling stones are small memorial stones made of brass, which are embedded in the ground in front of the last freely chosen residences of victims of National Socialism. They serve as a reminder not to forget the past.
Participation is only possible with prior registration at Tel.: 06581 99 46 42 (11 AM - 4 PM, except Saturday) or via email to amueseum@saarburg.de . The number of participants is limited to about 20 people per tour.
