The century construction project "New Construction of Pfaffendorfer Bridge" is one of the largest construction projects in all of Germany.
The tour offers a fascinating insight into engineering and the historically significant reconstruction of the bridge. It is aimed at interested individuals aged eight and above and provides an intensive understanding of the project through expert explanations as well as direct access to the construction site.
Meeting point: Entrance to the construction site below the wine village (Rheinanlagen)
Duration: approx. 1.5 hours (including the issue and return of helmets and vests)
Price: €11.00 per adult (minimum age 12 years)
Younger children, babies in carriers, etc. are not allowed entry!
Note: Wearing a safety vest and hard hat (provided) is mandatory! Closed, sturdy footwear, sure-footedness, and lack of acrophobia are essential! Participation is at your own risk! Please bring a flashlight.
