Concert Pink Floyd Project

The Original Pink Floyd Project – a tribute to Pink Floyd – was founded in the autumn of 2003. The band from Saarland captivates with its three-hour repertoire that brings the success story of the band back to life, as well as with colorful light effects and video sequences displayed on a round screen framed with moving lights and laser technology (Mr. Screen) that can be used depending on the location. Professional surround sound goes without saying.

However, club concerts in smaller settings without much technical effort are also possible.

In the repertoire of The Original Pink Floyd Project, alongside the complete album "Dark Side of the Moon," there are numerous highlights from the other successful albums of Pink Floyd, including the less meditative, harder pieces from "The Wall," such as the classic student song "Another Brick in the Wall – Part 1&2," which serves as a counterpoint in the program. Older pieces like Pink Floyd's masterpiece "Echoes" are also included.

In May 2015, there was a significant restructuring within the band. Sabine Simmet-Raber joined on backing vocals, and a new lead guitarist, Uwe Sicks, was integrated. With a lot of attention to detail and renewed motivation, the band has developed musically very strongly. Almost all the songs have been newly arranged, ensuring that the goosebumps aspect is not short-changed and that originality remains intact.

That no stone is left unturned is self-evident; after all, even tried-and-true arrangements always leave room for improvements, both in sound and interpretation.
