The singer-songwriter Rolf Stahlhofen Trio moves with a lot of music and humanity.
The soul and meaning giver.
He moves a lot with music and humanity: Rolf Stahlhofen is probably one of the musicians who has really done every job behind and on stage. From roadie to headliner. Even beyond the music business, this miracle of a voice has always been committed, helping people in need. For him, living means experiencing together – and those who want to change something, should roll up their sleeves.
“Full steam ahead,” Rolf Stahlhofen commemorates with the song on the platinum-awarded album ZION by the Söhne Mannheims. It is not the only one. To sing with all his heart, yes, he can do that. Stahlhofen, the soul powerhouse. He has lifelong committed to the vow to stop making music immediately if he can no longer engage with full passion. Every performance remains a matter of the heart to this day. Music and lyrics that stay in the heart characterize his solo albums. In 2004 he steps away from the Söhne Mannheims and releases his debut “Zeit was zu ändern,” followed by “Besser Jetzt als Nie” in 2009. He participates in “Tabaluga” by Peter Maffay, stands on stage with Udo Lindenberg at “Rock gegen Rechts,” and is predominantly on tour as “Rolf Stahlhofen & Friends” with his band. Whether with his various bands on sold-out tours through the largest arenas in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, or just accompanied by the piano.
Rolf Stahlhofen is a music giant with a big heart, which is also demonstrated in his projects for other people. He founded the Water is Right foundation and provides millions of people with clean drinking water worldwide or is engaged as a UN ambassador for dignified settlements. How has he spent all these years – in hundreds of clubs, at thousands of concerts around the world, always putting his whole heart and soul into it? Rolf Stahlhofen answers briefly, but warmly: “With a smile.”
