Countless melodies from the inexhaustible Avsenik song treasure have become evergreens of folk music. Prominent among them is "The Trumpet Echo," one of the most frequently performed instrumental pieces in the German-speaking music scene for decades and the theme song of the legendary "Musikantenstadl," as well as "On the Highway," "It is so beautiful to be a musician," "Slovenian Farmer's Dance," "Behind the Chicken Coop," and many more.

The musical triumph of the "Original Oberkrainer" lasted almost half a century. In the 1990s, the group withdrew from active stage life. However, the story of the Oberkrainer sound was far from over: Sašo Avsenik has been carrying on the musical legacy for over 15 years now: friendly,
authentic, and full of a sense of tradition! The extraordinary musicality of the musicians and their
joy of playing emphasize: "It is so beautiful to be a musician!"
