One who must be mentioned in the same breath is the Dutch Progressive Blues Rock guitarist Julian Sas. His unmistakable sound – crafted from original compositions and covers of legendary R&B greats – has resonated for decades among the big names and is more current than ever. Blazing fast guitar riffs are skillfully juxtaposed with moving blues solos – all in classic "BDG" lineup: bass, drums, guitar. Absolutely old-school yet at the pinnacle of modern audio technology – equally powerful in sound and nuanced in tone. The Dutch blues rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter Julian Sas has released nearly 20 studio albums since 1996. Last year, the Julian Sas Band celebrated its 30th anniversary with an extensive concert tour, during which songs from the entire repertoire created by the born musician over 30 years and 16 albums were performed. This year he will release his new album and go on tour with it.
