The music festival in Koblenz 2026
The renowned music festival Djangos Erben returns to Koblenz in 2026 and has long been an integral part of the cultural life of the city of Koblenz as well as the regional festival landscape. The festival honors the musical legacy of the legendary jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt, whose influence continues to shape generations of musicians worldwide to this day.
On Friday, July 31, 2026, and Saturday, August 1, 2026, Am Fort Asterstein will once again be transformed into a stage for a two-day open-air festival featuring Gypsy jazz, traditional music, and modern interpretations – completely in the spirit of Django Reinhardt's musical vision.
The festival is under the motto:
“Together instead of against each other – Connecting cultures.” Djangos Erben sees itself as a musical space for encounters, making cultural diversity visible, bringing people together, and shaping the cultural face of Koblenz for years.
Tickets & Advance Sale
The advance sale starts on March 1, 2026, and ends on July 21, 2026. Tickets are available at selected advance sales points in Koblenz and the surrounding area. From ten days before the festival begins, tickets are available exclusively at the box office.
Accessibility & Inclusion
A particular concern of Djangos Erben is genuine, lived inclusion.
Entry is free for guests with disabilities and for children up to and including 15 years of age. Music should be accessible to all people – regardless of age or limitations.
