Matinee on Easter Monday in the Matthias Chapel Kobern-Gondorf

With Viennese string sounds and a golden flute, Villa Musica attracts its audience on Easter audience on Easter Monday, April 10, at 11 a.m. in the Matthiaskapelle high above Kobern-Gondorf. Between Viennese classicism and Viennese turn of the century spreads the Israeli flutist Gili Schwarzman spreads magical sounds in the medieval church space. The conductor is the world-class violinist Guy Braunstein, for many years present in all the great halls of the world as concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. He will be joined by the fantastic young classical musicians of Villa Musica. Two weighty works by Beethoven frame the program: an arrangement of the Violin Sonata Opus 23 for flute and strings and the String Quintet in C minor Opus 104 - eight beautiful movements of the purest Viennese classical music as festive Easter music. In between, the Syncopation by the legendary Viennese violinist Fritz Kreisler and the cheerful Italian Serenade by Hugo Wolf will be heard.
