With the exhibition “Between Forest and Vineyard”, the municipality of Veldenz invites visitors to a special artistic journey of discovery through the landscape of the Moselle Valley.
The artist Harald Meuren was born in Piesport and grew up along the Moselle. Today, he lives and works as a freelance artist and decorative painter in Berlin. However, the close connection to his home region continues to shape his artistic creation to this day. In his works, he captures the colors, moods, and memories of the Moselle landscape. His paintings are created with pigment colors on textured grounds and depict landscapes between reality and memory – atmospheric, expressive, and full of references to the region.
The exhibition can be seen until the end of September in the Villa Romana in Veldenz and is open for visits from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. as well as during events and by appointment. Admission is free.
