The Municipal Museum Amüseum at the Waterfall in Saarburg presents the exhibition "Seen Like This" by the artist group Do 18 Uhr from June 1, 2025, to September 28, 2025. The opening takes place on Sunday, June 1, at 11 a.m. in the presence of the artists.

The artists of the group Do 18 Uhr met during a part-time art or project study at EKA Trier. Since then, they have been meeting regularly – once a month on Thursdays at 6 p.m. – for inspiring exchanges about their creative work.

Although their works may initially appear diverse, the artists share a common artistic attitude: they go beyond mere representation of reality and allow subtle moods and multifaceted stories to flow into their artworks through the targeted use of color, material, form, and structure.

The title of the exhibition, "Seen Like This," consciously plays with the complexity of perception. It is about conscious seeing, the emotions that a motif evokes both during the creative process and when viewed, and the exciting dialogue that arises between the artwork and the observing person.

The artists employ different techniques such as acrylic painting, ink drawings, and mixed media. They utilize both figurative and abstract forms of representation to express not only the visible but especially their inner feelings. Thus, each painting unfolds in the eyes of the viewers in a unique way and invites them to discover very personal perspectives and emotions.

The exhibition can be visited during the opening hours of the Amüseum from Sunday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
