With the exhibition LANDGANG 2025, the European Art Academy Trier and the city of Konz are opening a new space for artistic dialogue between studio, landscape, and the public. From October 31 to November 30, 2025, students and alumni of the Academy will showcase a diverse selection of their current works at the town hall of Konz.
The title LANDGANG refers to a movement between places and perspectives – to landing, pausing, and engaging. Along the Moselle, from Trier to Konz, where the Moselle and Saar merge, a symbolic path opens up that focuses on the artistic exploration of landscape, space, and contemporary culture. The project sees itself as an invitation to undertake the "walk" from the protected space of the academy into the public sphere – into a terrain of exchange and encounter.
In the corridors and halls of the town hall, positions are presented that exemplify the diversity of artistic expressions at the European Art Academy. Painting, graphics, sculpture, installation, and photography enter into a lively dialogue. The exhibition offers insights into the artistic development of young talents as well as the paths that former students have taken after their time at the academy.
