36. Wine-Fest of the Roman wine route More than 35 years the 19 villages of the roman Wine route celebrate a fantastic Wine-Fest in Schweich on the first week-end of May. At the opening day you can enjoy the crowning ceremony of the Wine-Queen and listen to pop and rock music. Traditional food and a variety of more than 150 wines will invite you to join the popular Wine-Fest.
The 36th FESTIVAL of the Roman Wine Route in Schweich
It starts again! First weekend in May 2024! The wonderful month of May whets the appetite for summer and with it the dance begins Wine festivals on the Moselle. THE FESTIVAL of the Roman Wine Route finally opens again annual outdoor wine season. It is one of the largest wine festivals on the Moselle. There was a revival in the 2023 season. The FEST returned with success.
The wine stands of the association towns will be on Friday, May 3rd at 6 p.m open. The coronation of the wine queen and her princesses will take place this evening at 8 p.m Be the opening event for the three following festival days. The second day of the festival starts on Saturday afternoon at 5 p.m. with the opening of the wine and wine festival Food stalls. The stage program begins at 8 p.m. and lasts until midnight Night.
On Sundays the wine and food stalls open at 12 p.m. and the Schweich shops are inviting on Sunday shopping from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The festival program on the two stages ends at 9:00 p.m.
