Participation in the tours is without registration and free of charge!

The tomb of the Blind King Johann of Bohemia is a masterpiece of the famous Prussian architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel and is therefore considered one of the most significant architectural monuments in the Saar-Obermosel region.

The Day of Open Monuments® always takes place on the second Sunday in September. The action day is coordinated nationwide by the German Foundation for Monument Protection (DSD). Since 1999, the DSD has placed the Day of Open Monuments under a different motto each year.
