Guided tour of the town and castle in Saarburg

Saarburg celebrates World Guide Day and invites everyone interested to two exciting and special tours.
On February 21 and 22, the city offers a varied program that appeals to both locals and tourists. 

Visitors will learn interesting facts about the history and architecture of the city and the impressive Saarburg during this tour.

World Guide Day takes place annually on February 21 and was created to highlight the important work of guides worldwide. On this day, the indispensable role of guides in conveying the history, culture, and unique features of a place is brought to attention. This year's theme is "Hidden Treasures." World Guide Day was initiated by the World Federation of Tourist Guides (WFTGA) and has been celebrated annually since 1990. In Germany, the Federal Association of Tourist Guides in Germany (BVGD) is in charge.
