On the occasion of the three anniversaries "70 years of the Air Force," "65 years of the garrison town of Cochem," and "70 years of Büchel Air Base," the Tactical Air Force Squadron 33 will host a public event on Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Endertplatz and Carlfritz-Nikolay Platz in Cochem. In addition to a varied stage program, visitors can expect various exhibitors from all areas of Büchel Air Base. Furthermore, the traveling exhibition "70 Years of the Air Force" can be seen at the equipment house of the voluntary fire department in Cochem. The highlight of the event will be a flyover by Tornados in the afternoon. If you have the time and interest, we would be pleased to welcome you on that day.
