Kat Frankie I BODIES | mosel musikfestival

Already as a singer-songwriter, Kat Frankie incorporated pure vocal parts into her performances. When the native Australian played an acoustic solo set at the Katharinen Church in Hamburg, the idea for an a cappella project began to take shape.

Kat Frankie | B O D I E S, the now eight-member vocal ensemble, immediately surprised, astonished, and delighted the audience. Following their full-length debut in 2020 at the RBB broadcasting hall in Berlin, sold-out concerts quickly followed from the Elbphilharmonie to the Konzerthaus Dortmund.

Their performance is truly special. The singers showcase the entire range of human emotions: powerful, then tender and contemplative, or passionate and playful. Kat Frankie's compositions create a wide arc that the eight women let resonate in absolute harmony.

They have now further developed their project – at our atmospheric open-air event in the courtyard of the Kurfürstliches Palais, goosebumps are guaranteed!
