Giacomo Puccini's La fanciulla del West is an opera full of passion and adventure that transports the audience to the rugged, golden California during the Gold Rush. In the first "Western" of opera history, Puccini emphasized a dramatic, ever-evolving musical representation of the plot. In the third act, the famous aria "Ch’ella mi creda" is heard. The wait for it is worth it!
