Dvořák wrote about Tchaikovsky's most beautiful opera: “This music is enchanting and penetrates so deeply into our hearts that we can never forget it.” Deborah Warner's production sets the story in the late 19th century, between a farmhouse and a ballroom. The magnificent Asmik Grigorian takes on the role of the lovestruck young heroine Tatiana in this passionate opera adaptation of Alexander Pushkin.
