Kit Armstrong | Mosel Musikfestival

Music Festival

Kit Armstrong, piano – Luxembourg Philharmonic

For many years, Kit Armstrong has been closely associated with the Mosel Music Festival. In 2016, Hermann Lewen enabled him to hold his first major organ recital, and since then, he has frequently been a guest at the Mosel with special concert projects – whether with "500 Years of Piano Music" (2022) or his concert on the historic hammer piano of Nannette Streicher in the Villa Böcking in Traben-Trarbach. He now returns for an extraordinary concert. It fits perfectly into the anniversary year of the festival, in which "the voice" is the "instrument of the year." Kit Armstrong, who describes singing as his ideal, dedicates this program to works by Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven, all of which have extremely vocal solo parts. His musical partner is the Luxembourg Philharmonic, which Kit Armstrong will lead from the piano.
