Koblenzer Orgelspaziergang

Koblenz Organ Walk with Short Concerts

Since the Koblenz Organ Walk had to be canceled in June due to excessive heat, it will now take place on Friday, September 4, 2026.

The Koblenz cantors Joachim Aßmann, Lennart Faustmann, and Christian Tegel will offer a walk through the Koblenz districts of Rauental, Goldgrube, and Moselweiß from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with short organ concerts in the Motherhouse Church at Marienhof, St. Elisabeth Church, St. Franziskus Church, and St. Laurentius Church.

The Koblenz Organ Walk is taking place for the fourth time and is becoming increasingly popular. The program features organ works by Johann Sebastian Bach, arrangements of Bach’s works, originally intended organ works by Bach, as well as works related to Bach's name (including BACH by Franz Liszt) and a paraphrase of the famous “Toccata”.

With information about the organs and programs, Lennart Faustmann will moderate in an entertaining manner and guide the concert visitors to the individual churches.

The walk begins with the first concert in the Motherhouse Church at Marienhof (Moselweißer Straße 122), where free parking is available in front of the church for participants. For a cozy conclusion, you are warmly invited to the parish garden in Moselweiß for snacks and drinks.

The participation fee is 15,- € and must be paid in cash at the beginning of the event. The organizers request registration by email (christian.tegel@ekir.de) or phone (0261/94249017).
