Daniel Kehlmann is the author of the play-thriller "Heilig Abend," which premiered on February 2, 2017, at the Vienna Theater in the Josefstadt. He says about his work: "The play is an interrogation between a policeman and a professor whom he suspects of terrorist activities."
Judith is arrested on Christmas Eve while on her way to her parents. She is accused of planning a terrorist attack together with her ex-husband, specifically at midnight on Christmas Eve. The interrogation begins at 10:30 PM, which is 90 minutes before the attack she is accused of, and which Thomas, the policeman and interrogation specialist, wants to prevent within that time.
