Lecture & Talk ‘Quo vadis Europe’

As part of ‘Culture in the Pilgrimage Church’, the former Foreign Minister of Luxembourg, Jean Asselborn, will be a guest on 25 May 2025 for the lecture ‘Quo vadis Europe’.

After the lecture, Fr Albert Seul OP will talk to Jean Asselborn about Europe and his life.

About Jean Asselborn:
From 30 July 2004 to 16 November 2023, Jean Asselborn was Luxembourg's Minister of Foreign Affairs; since 2014 also Minister of Immigration and Asylum. Jean Asselborn was also Deputy Prime Minister of Luxembourg until December 2013.

On 14 December 2010, he was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for his outstanding services to German-Luxembourgish relations and close European policy cooperation between Germany and Luxembourg.

On 10 October 2013, Jean Asselborn was appointed Commandeur de la Légion d'Honneur of France.
