The ensemble LIGHTSIGNS brings the music of the Irish artist Enya to life anew, preferably choosing locations where sound, silence, and spirituality meet in a special way.
The natural resonance of church spaces gives the arrangements an extraordinary depth and creates an atmosphere that touches and slows down.
Enya began her musical journey with the folk band Clannad and started her solo career in 1982. Since then, her songs have floated between New Age and traditional Irish-Celtic sounds; they soothe the stressed mind, lead inward, and create connection.
This applies to the original as well as to the interpretations by LIGHTSIGNS, which is accompanied by piano, keyboard, classical guitar, pipes, cello, harp, or violin – here one can dive into other spheres and allow daydreams – a concert experience for people of all ages.
