machernbaroque: Expectation - Griseldis Lichdi, Josef Thiesen

From the Klosterhof Machern, one looks across the Mosel at the Church of St. Marien in Rachtig on the other side.

A special feature here is the König-Weimbs organ, a new organ in baroque attire. The organ building company Weimbs installed the 27 registers of the organ into the case made by Balthasar König in 1739, along with the prospect.
Griseldis Lichdi, trumpet and Josef Thiesen, organ, will perform works by baroque masters on the 1st Advent Sunday. Admission is free, and we welcome donations.
